Important: Existing vanilla Emerald saves are not compatible. You must start a new game.

Recommended Emulators

  • PC / Mac / Linux: mGBA (strongly recommended)
  • Android: Pizza Boy GBA, Lemuroid, RetroArch (mGBA core)
  • iOS: Delta, RetroArch (mGBA core), Ignited
  • Handhelds (Steam Deck, Anbernic…): RetroArch with mGBA core

Avoid MyBoy – it may cause crashes or save issues.

Known Issues (Beta 1.0)

  • Kanto badges do not appear on the Trainer Card.
  • Some FireRed‑specific items are non‑functional.
  • Trainer Card / minor UI differences depending on starting region.
