The game is now distributed as a single patch. After starting a new game, you can choose your starting region directly in-game.

Start your adventure in Hoenn or Kanto without downloading separate builds.

Important: Vanilla Emerald saves are not compatible. Start a new game. Region selection is now done in-game.

Recommended Emulators

  • PC / Mac / Linux: mGBA (recommended)
  • Android: Pizza Boy GBA, Lemuroid, RetroArch (mGBA core)
  • iOS: Delta, RetroArch (mGBA core), Ignited
  • Handhelds: RetroArch with mGBA core

Avoid MyBoy – it may cause crashes or save issues.

Known Issues (Beta 1.0.1)

  • Kanto badges do not appear on the Trainer Card.
  • Some FireRed-specific items are non-functional.
  • Minor Trainer Card / UI differences depending on region.
